Moss & Soil was born out of necessity and a deep sense of nostalgia for my island home. My name is Kharlla, and I am the sole proprietor of this venture. Originally from Puerto Rico, a tropical paradise filled with lush vegetation and diverse plant life, I found myself struggling to adapt to a new climate after moving. Missing the plants I had grown up with, I wanted to surround my new space with the greenery that had always been a part of my life. With a formal education in Fine Arts and a passion for creativity, I sought a solution and discovered that terrariums offered the perfect way to recreate the environment I longed for, allowing me to preserve and nurture the plants I cherished. What began as a personal endeavor to bring a piece of home into my new surroundings blossomed into a solo venture where I design unique, beautiful terrariums that help others enjoy nature’s beauty, no matter where they live. Each piece I create reflects my journey, artistic background, and my love for both art and the natural world.
